Having a Real Estate agent is more important than ever. They provide you with market information, comparative pricing for similar properties in your community, help you negotiate, use their large database of potential buyers and sellers and much more. An agents knowledge and experience can be a crucial part of buying and selling your next home!

You can either choose a passive agent or an active agent. A passive agent will tell you they will hold open houses, send out flyers, advertise in the paper or on social media. However, these methods only work 25% of the time yet agents sell this concept as if it's the answer to all of your problems. This is passive, meaning... sitting around with their fingers crossed waiting for the buyer.

Active marketing, on the other hand, is literally getting on the phone and personally contacting 25, 50 and even 100 people every single day. The key is asking if they would like to buy or sell their home or know someone that would like to buy or sell a home. I ask because the more people I talk to the better chance I have at either selling your home or finding the right home for you and your family. It is this plus many other things that make up an active agent.
